Interested in Becoming a Program Instructor?

Our Staff Includes:

• Arts, musicians and community businesses who want to share their skills with kids; for instance Karate Studios and Dance Studios.

• Parents with children in school who want to share their expertise and talents to enrich the school.

• Certificated teachers, some working full time in their classrooms, some retired and some taking time out from full time work in the classroom to raise their young children, some looking for full time employment.

• School employees such as computer lab techs and classroom aides.

• Student teachers and college students interested in becoming teachers.

• Retired community members with expertise in a field who always wanted to teach and never had the chance.

Two things all our staff has in common:

• A desire to teach their skill

• Love for children

We always need teachers for Cooking, Chess, Science, Computers, Spanish and Arts & Crafts!


Teaching for ACT Enrichment is Flexible:

Teachers can choose their subject, how many days they want (depending on the popularity of the class) and the days they want to teach. Sessions run for 6-10 weeks and start in September and end in May. The job is through a contract. Classes are usually 1 hour right after school.

Teacher Requirements:

• Fingerprinting through the California Department of Justice and clearance

• Recent TB test and clearance
